Troop formation to play Medici’s Treasure event

Let’s talk about Medici Formation.

NB! There is no single unique recipe for troops formation – it really depends on the level of development of your city.

Concept:

Zombies heal automatically after every battle (they don’t die – you always will have the same count of Zombies before and after each battle), so we can make use of this fact. Zombies are the best defenders in the Medici’s Treasure Event. We need them as max as possible.

Zombies are medium-range troops, so they will always be positioned between front-line (melee) troops and back-line (long-range) troops.

Always open every square! The loot is the most important in this event, points do not matter (of course if you don’t want to be in top100).

Troop formation should be like:

• If you are Long-Range player: 10% melee troops (front-line troops), 10% medium range troops (middle-line troops) with maximum Zombies, 80% long-range troops;
• If you are Medium-range player: 20% melee troops (front-line troops), 70% medium range troops (middle-line troops) with maximum Zombies, 10% long-range troops:
  • For c34+ (the same applies also for other lvl cities) – The first 17 bosses attack from the right side, so you need to put your main midrange unit on the left side. If those are rockets then skip the bikes, so the rockets will be on the left side of your zombies. Stormtroopers will be always on the left side. And if your main troops are t11 gunners then only use gunners and zombies in the mid row so the gunners will be on the left side of your zombies. If you want your zombies to live longer during the battle then add some t11 gunners too besides your main troops (stormies or rockets)
• Btw, we know guys who are using max defense troops. Test this also 😉

Here is a recommended c30 (city level 30) Long Range formation for this event:

• TRY setup with and without moto-bikes and see what is best for you – moto-bikes are changing troop formation in the battle!
• Melee troops:
  • 1000x – 2000x each.
• Medium Range troops:
  • 1000x – 2000x each;
  • Maximum Zombies.
• Long Range troops:
  • 1000x – 2000x Shielders;
  • 1000x – 2000x T10 EMP;
  • 1000x – 2000x T9 Cannons;
  • fill fleet with T10 Snipers.

Fortify Power priority order if we assume that they are all of the same level:

1. Corpse Mountain – Increases the number of Zombie Troops. This is the most powerful buff, as Zombies are the best fighters in this event and actually in the whole game 🙂
2. Surmount – Increases the number of Troops;
3. Troops Ruler – Increases Attack, Defense and HP of Troops
4. Zombie Ruler – Increases Attack, Defense and HP of Biochemical Zombies
5. Long Range Attack or Medium-Range Attack – Increases Attack of Long-Range Troops or Medium-Range Troops (depending on what type of attacker you are – Long-Range or Medium-Range);
6. Troops Attack – Increase Attack of Troops (except Zombie Troops);
7. Biochemical Zombies Attack – Increases Attack of Biochemical Zombies;
8. Long-Range HP or Mid-Range HP – Increases HP of Long-Range Troops or Medium-Range Troops (depending on what type of attacker you are – Long-Range or Medium-Range);
9. Troop HP – Increases HP of Troops (except Zombie Troops);
10. Melee HP – Increases HP of Melee Troops;
11. Biochemical Zombies HP – Increases HP of Biochemical Zombies;
12. Giant Weapon – Increases Attack, Defense and HP of Titans and Warplanes;
13. Enhanced Medic – Reduces the number of Wounded after battle;
14. Troops Defense – Increases Defense of Troops (except Zombie Troops);
15. Long-Range Defense – Increase Defense of Long-Range Troops;
16. Mid-Range Defense – Increase Defense of Mid-Range Troops;
17. Melee Defense – Increases Defense of Melee Troops;
18. Melee Attack – Increases Attack of Melee Troops;
19. Scavenger – Increase the number of Precision Parts directly collected;
20. Looter – Increases the number of Precision Parts earned from killing Zombies.
