Let’s rule theM all

The developers of the AOZ Codes website also plays Age of Origins game. We have our own alliances, our own academies, as well as farms. And we’ve always lacked something like a tool to help sort out alliance city placement, efficient flag placement, etc.

So some time ago we realized that we should develop something like that so we developed a prototype of such tool. Therefore, we would like to ask you what do you think about such tool? We would be glad if you could write your opinion in the comment.

We would appreciate it if you would write a comment whether you would be interested in using the Age of Origins Interactive Maps System that would include:

  1. Anyone without registration can view the Maps that are available in the Map System;
  2. Anyone can register and use this Map System;
  3. Any Map System user can add Map Objects (Cities, Elite Mines, Alliance Buildings, Flags, etc.);
  4. Any user of the Map System can add Alliances and their locations to the Map System;
  5. Any user of the Map System can view all Objects and Alliances that have been added to the Map System, as well as easily browse and copy the list of Alliances of a given Nation and the location Coordinates of the Alliance Building of these Alliances. Thus, you will have the opportunity to create a topic in your Alliance in a convenient way, which will show the names and coordinates of the Alliances of the opponent Nation of the VOID / FRENZY event;
  6. The Map System will help you place Alliance Flags on your Nation map to reach the Elite Mines in the most efficient way possible. The system will calculate the shortest and most efficient paths for placing the Flags;
  7. The Map System in the event of a Nation Merger will help you distribute the Nation’s Bonus Buildings and Elite Mines as efficiently and fairly as possible;
  8. There will be an option to create a records of your Alliance in the Map System. In these records, you will be able to add the cities of your Alliance members and their names, levels, Battle Power, Kills, Deaths, notes, etc. The data about these records will be available only to you and the users you grant the right to see/edit the Alliance you created;
  9. In the Map System, it will be possible to create private maps that can only be viewed by you or users to whom you have granted the right to see / edit this map (NOTE: while testing the already created prototype, we concluded that it would be better if all registered users’ maps automatically would be private and the user would be able to send his registered map objects to the public map);
  10. In the Map System, it will be possible to import data (Map Objects) from Public Maps to Private Maps;
  11. The Map System will record all the changes that will be made to the Maps, and there will also be the possibility to cancel the changes made by yourself, and there will also be the possibility to “travel in time”;
  12. In the future, it is expected that the Map System will be able to scan Nations and collect statistics of these Nations; In the future, it is expected that the Map System will be able to scan Nations and collect information of the map fields (squares) and statistics of these Nations;
  13. In the future, it is planned to develop a Mobile Application with which you will be able to receive messages if any user (of your Alliance or anyone) in your Nation or in the Opponent’s Nation notes that a City that can be attacked has been found. A notification will be displayed on the mobile device. So you won’t have to be in the game all the time and wait for someone to find an enemy and announce its coordinates. This notification will be shown to you by the application;
  14. Any user of the Map System will be able to suggest improvements to the Map System.

Thank you!

  1. Fantastic! Camel makes more money by giving vague instructions and not helping players. They profit from lack of knowledge and organized play.

  3. I would like to point out about the new in game update regarding map itself.
    I play as “rebel” against the top 2 alliances in my nation,918. Shields 24/7, sabotage on their main and farms cities, so very expensive play style just not to bend a knee for one c41.
    Some of the new features in my opinion shouldn’t be added, being able to see cities on the map with zoom, their city level and also fleets trajectory are visible in zoom, at first it looks great and very convenient but it also have a downside, it’s just too much information with no effort, I can lose the surprise effect during my battles in and outside of the nation, if I only required to place my city one screen away or couple of tiles away from the view now with just a little zooming out a c28 will immediately attract attention.
    Some of the features don’t really benefit ordinary players and actually compromising them against dictators who would wipe everything out in seconds across the map, we have people obsessed with points and they are the biggest contributors to developers of the game, but this just makes everything is much one sided in world’s like 918, it doesn’t affect me in any way because I’m in everyone’s view, but what about other people who can’t have a lifetime subscription for shields and all the F2P.
    I believe these maps are amazing but they also can be damaging for the game itself if you understand what I’m trying to say, things are getting to easier for the attacker and difficult for anyone trying to hide.
    The alarm when someone’s shields is off in my opinion is completely OP and shouldn’t be allowed even by the game, it’s making human factor irrelevant if you don’t need alliance members to watch out for the enemies and targets if the game notifies straight away then no longer you can be “lucky” and no one noticed that somewhere in the corner of the map your shields dropped for couple of minutes…
    That’s just as examples for scenarios that could happen, I really love how this game is build and design and it can be played differently and in so many ways that I don’t think even developers intended some of the things I use against my enemies on daily basis 😅
    I wouldn’t want to see this game loosing some of it’s elements that makes this game unique.
    I’m experienced gamer and I love the strategy and tactics but I want to express my opinion and my concern because I seen this happen too many times:
    New content and new features getting added more and over time everything becomes too easy, too comfortable and it’s starting to affect the how we are playing the game and 8 times out of 10 the new things that being added are really only beneficial for those who already has the advantage.
    I like my games on superbly insanely difficult levels and I can’t really see any better game than this, where politics, power and anything that I can only desire to keep me on edge all of the time and never get bored, it’s even possible to play against 200 people solo and it doesn’t matter if everyone is c41 because can’t die and can’t lose account so there’s infinite warfare and so many ways, 14 months and I’m still not bored, incredible.
    I have a lot of suggestions for this game but some of them will bring more difficulty and different kind of comfort, I wouldn’t suggest anything that would make the war part and all related to that any easier.
    I know many will disagree with my suggestions but in my personal opinion the game and it’s mechanics shouldn’t become anymore easier and comfortable.

    • Then make your own game! You also don’t do a great job of hurting your enemies, you attemps are fairly week and you’ve done nothing but hurt yourself!

  4. cela est une idée geniale , je cartographie sur excell les donnes de mes ennemis , avoir un tel outil serait genial

  5. I am Clay of 1115. i am the R5 of the top alliance. I have a technical background in computer science, and have been using a manual system in google sheets for organization of our hive, and the map. As well as many other things mentioned here like tracking members, BP, enemies, etc.

    I am very interested in this project. Is there a GitHub repo, or code base somewhere that I may look in to?
