How to reduce transport tax rate?
The standard transport “Tax rate” when sending resources to Alliance members is 50%.
This rate can be lowered in Academy -> Research -> Development -> “Tax Rate I” and “Tax Rate II”.
But remember – every 1% will be only 0.5% in reality.
This means that if you research the maximum “Tax Rate I”, it will show the current effect as 5%, but in reality it will only be 2.5%.
Also, “Director” class Officers can use the “Tax Rate” skill, which will also reduce the Tax Rate (effect will be the same – 2 times less than it will be show).
This Tax rate discount does not apply to Taxes you pay for collecting resources in another Alliance Territory. In this case, you will pay the Alliance “Territory Tax”, which have a starting rate of 15%. Each Alliance can develop this rate in the Alliance Technology Center and maximum increase it to +7.5%, which will result in a final 22.5% Territory Tax rate. In this case, the percentage calculation is exactly the same as shown in the game.
