Many people don’t know the trick how to open Elite Recruitment Orders (Purple Envelops) to get a lot of Purple Officer Fragments
We will explain that:
- Make sure you have at least 18x Elite Recruitment Orders (so you can open 2 x 9);
- Use the “Recruit 10 times” button which will use 9x Recruitment Orders, watch the animation – do not skip it and do not tap on the screen;
- Check what you got. If there was no at least 1x (one) Purple Officer or were no 8x (eight) Purple Officer fragments (because if you already have the officer which you got again, it will be turned in to 8 purple pieces of this officer), do not press the button “Confirm” and do not close the window, but use button “Recruit Again” in the same window;
- If there was at least 1x (one) Purple Officer or 8x (eight) Purple Officer fragments, then leave the page and do something else in the game. After that open it again and start again from the step Nr. 1 if you still have at least 18x Elite Recruitment Orders.
This is the way you will always get 8x Purple Officer Fragments at least every second time!
It makes a huge difference, envelops are cheap, officer packs are very expensive.
The same approach you can use for “Normal Recruitment Orders”. Our tests show that this method will not always work, but about 90% of Normal recruits. Before to open Normal Recruitment Orders – go to the Distribution Center Exchange Store and sell one green Officer fragment + Remove all Officers.

Are you referring to if we do at least 2×9 normal recruitment orders, we will get at least one 8x blue officer fragment? Or we will at least one purple fragment/skill book using the normal recruitment order.

You will have a higher chance of getting a green/blue officer.
But the latest tests show that this possibility, using this method, is only about 20-50%. Therefore, it can be said that this method does not really work with “Normal Recruitments”, but it slightly improves the chance of success.

If you have new officers, you can use any of them.
Of course, there is a limit to how many at the time you can activate these officers in a particular category:
Director type – 2 of them;
Straegy type – 2 of them;
Drillmaster type – 4 of them;
Warfare type – 6 of them.
For example, if you already have 6 warfare officers appointed – you cannot appoint the seventh. You can exchange one of the officers for another. This is the mechanism of this game – to get a specific bonus, you need to change officers all the time. For example, in order for you to get the Recruitment Speed bonus, you need to change, for example, Captain Morgan and Saki to Loreline and Sergeant Barney.
And don’t forget that your Commander level must be:
Lv.10 – to activate a second Director-type officer
Lv.13 – to activate another Strategy type officer
Lv.14 – to activate a second Drillmaster type officer
Lv.16 – to activate the third Drillmaster type officer
Lv.20 – to activate the fourth Drillmaster type officer
Lv.15 – to activate a second officer of the Warfare type
Lv.18 – to activate the third officer of the Warfare type
Lv.22 – to activate the fourth Warfare type officer
Lv.26 – to activate the fifth Warfare type officer
Lv.30 – to activate the sixth Warfare type officer
Your officer level is displayed next to your profile avatar in the lower left corner.
I’m sorry but the problem is that Butterfly is not showing as an officer we can use in Mercenary Survivor. Although we have Big Dog and Butterfly under warfare type, only Big Dog shows up as an option we can use in Mercenary Survivor. We want an answer to this specific problem in Mercenary Survivor.

you’re really missing the point. I have the same issue and i cannot use butterfly as my warfare type. i just want to play mercenary survivor with butterfly on my team and i cannot do so.
For Number 4 I think there is a ‘no’ missing.
Should it not read… the following?

Point 4 is correct.
If you opened 9 letters and there IS at least ONE officer – you should NOT continue to open next 9 letters in the SAME window – as it will be waste of them – because in this turn you will NOT get more purple officers, because you ALREADY GOT one in this attempt.
Yes I also have butterfly unlocked but cannot use it. Even when I switch to active officer and appoint and do all that.
Are purchases limited to specific countries?? I’ve been trying to purchase a few packs but I cannot purchase anything at all in the game. I always get an error message saying ‘Billing unavailable’
